- Chef Nadiya Hussain, in an interview with the BBC's Radio Times magazine, says she's experienced more racism in the last five years than in her entire life, and that she doesn't always call it out because it's not her industry.

- Bradford's popular desi restaurant Akbar's has been forced to close after a staff coronavirus outbreak, the owner said. Bradford Council welcomed the move.
