Labour MP Apsana Begum, who represents London's Poplar and Limehouse constituency, has been charged with housing fraud.

She is accused of offences relating to how she was given her council flat and is due in court on December 10, reports the Sun newspaper. If convicted she could face a jail sentence and lose her seat.
