British black and Asian voters are abandoning the Conservatives, says new survey

The UK Conservative Party has a problem with Black and Ethnic Minority (BAME) voters, another survey out today shows.

The survey, published by a new Tory group called Onward, shows the mountain the Tories have to climb. It also says that unless that mountain is climbed it will be much harder for them to win a majority in the future.

This is how minorities broadly voted in the last three elections

Onward's board member James Kanagasooriam says the party should "consider its tone and language of engagement" and emphasise "values and experience shared".

Whether the Conservatives listen is another matter.
