More than a quarter of black, Asian and minority ethnic NHS staff had not yet had a risk assessment in relation to their exposure to coronavirus.

The number has come from data collected by national NHS leaders, and reported by Health Service Journal today.

Leaders at the NHS had earlier called for all non-white NHS staff to get COVID-19 risk assessments because they were dying at higher proportions compared to white staff.
