If you browsed Facebook or Twitter last night, you could not avoid a mention of the BBC drama 'The Boy With the Top Knot'.

The TV adaptation of Sathnam Sanghera's nove, directed by Nisha Parti and starring Sacha Dewan as the lead character, was even trending as a Twitter top topic last night.

And the overwhelming reaction? A sense of relief that difficult topics were being raised, that our voices were being represented on TV, and even awkward moments that made parents run out of the room.

Here is a selection of tweets we found, we'll let them speak for themselves.

There was straight up praise too...

Of course there were the inevitable awkward moments!
